Applications: Type SE, Style SEU Service Entrance Cable is a round and flat electrical cable used in all instances where service entrance cables are allowed. It is most often used to connect utility power to the meter base. This cable is suitable for wet and dry locations with temperatures not exceeding 90°C. The voltage rating of the electrical cable is 600 volts. Also known as: Copper SEU Service Entrance Cable, SEU Cable, SEU Service Cable, Copper Service Cable, Unarmored Service Entrance Cable.

Conductor: Annealed soft copper conductors.

Insulated Phase Conductors (2 Conductors): 6 AWG, 7-strand annealed soft copper equipped with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) Type XHHW-2 insulation. Rated for up to 90°C in wet or dry locations.

Equipment Ground Conductor: 8 AWG, 8-strand bare soft copper, applied as a concentric neutral ground around the insulated phase conductors.

Jacket: Gray, sunlight-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. This dielectrically strong outer layer is highly resistant to corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and mechanical impact.
